ROTA HOSTS A STATE FUNERAL FOR ONE OF ITS PAST POLITICAL LEADERS.

The island of Rota bids farewell TO ONE OF the founding fatherS of the CNMI, Benjamin Taisacan Manglona. A church service and mass of Christian burial will take place Tuesday morning.

 

 

TINIAN LEADERS LOOK TO REPLACE DYNASTY INVESTORS.

Tinian Mayor, JP San Nicolas, returns from Hong Kong and Beijing with Senator Frank Cruz, confident in the promises from Chinese Strategic and Mr. Tim Chien, who he says are major investors saying they are serious about taking over the Dynasty from Mega Stars, which is tied with Hong Kong Entertainment.

 

 

MAN SAYS CURRENT GUN RESTRICTIONS KEEP HIM FROM PROTECTING HIS FAMILY.

Paul Murphy filed an amended complaint in federal court, stating the CNMI Safe Act is keeping him from protecting his family against violent crime because of its storage restrictions, caliber restrictions, and tax requirements on firearms.
