GUN PLAINTIFF SEEKS TO TOTE HIGH-POWERED WEAPONS

While the SAFE Act was signed into law on April 11 removing the ban on possession of handguns, it does maintain the prohibition on rifles in calibers about .22 and .223 and shotguns of gauge greater than .410.  Assistant AG Charles Brasington says plaintiff Paul Murphy is not allowed to register to glock pursuant to the Weapons Control Act.

RESEARCHERS WILL SOON KNOW MORE ABOUT THE DEEP BLUE OF THE MARIANAS TRENCH--AND YOU CAN TOO!

Crws of the Okeanos Explorer will be using an unmanned remotely operated vehicle to check out the deep blue sea right in the southern half of the Commonwealth and the Marianas Trench Marine National Monument.  The ROV can go to depths of 6,000 meters or 3.7 miles.

STUDENTS WILL GET UP AND CLOSE WITH WHALE BONES THIS WEEK

KSPN caught up with students as they transferred the bones from Marianas Business Plaza to American Memorial Park.  The whale was found on Tinian in 2004 after scientists say it was hit in the skull by a ship.
