JUDGES SAY LONG–AWAITED DRUG COURT WILL HELP EASE VIOLENCE IN THE HOME.

The drug court is meant for offenders who are not a violent risk, but Superior Court Judge David Wiseman says domestic violence offenders are great candidates for the program. He explains going through rehabilitation can help end violence in the home.

 

A REPEAT DRUG OFFENDER FACES AN 18 MONTH SENTENCE FOLLOWING SEVERAL CRIMINAL CONVICTIONS.

Judge David Wiseman sentenced John B. Reyes to serve two years in jail, all suspended except for 18 months.

 

ENVIRONMENTAL OFFICIALS SAY MORE TOURISTS...MEAN MORE PROBLEMS FOR FISH AND WILDLIFE.

Environmental agencies are stating concerns about increasing growth in the Commonwealth. The Department of Fish and Wildlife says actions must be taken to improve conservation efforts for endangered species, as more tourists are expected in the coming years.
